Problem
The Starwood Preferred Guest® program is widely considered one of the best loyalty programs in the country. Members can earn points and benefits at more than 1,500 hotels around the world.
Despite the quality of the SPG program, travelers expressed confusion about all of the possibilities to bank points in their accounts.
Solution
The Ruxly team made the seemingly complicated process of earning, redeeming and enjoying the rewards program more inclusive and clear-cut through a two-pronged visual effort.
Ruxly produced an animated video, “Many Ways to Earn,” and a step-by-step infographic, “Starpoints.”

Famed corporate strategist McKinsey noted that “Starwood’s loyalty program has improved its brand appeal and helped the chain achieve above market growth.”
